Acne for Men and Women
Adult Acne are both present
among men and women. However, according to studies, women are
more prone to acne than men do. Hormonal fluctuations are
one of the perceived causes of adult acne. Although a lot of
fallacious statements have been made still, acne comes into
one factual conclusion which is a hormonal condition.

Women are said to be the
most
affected since they have greater tendencies of experiencing
hormonal imbalance. Factors like pre-menstrual state are
deemed as the generating factor of having acne problem. This
also comes with the emergence of a woman’s menstrual cycle
and period, pregnancy months and even on the menopausal
stage. These are the time when hormones varies and changes
from time to time. In
some cases, one of the causes of adult acne can be in the
existence of androgens. This kind of hormones can greatly
contribute to the clogging of hair follicles as it produces
further oil glands causing bacteria to penetrate the skin
and cause acne in due time. Acnes are known to be visible
through an enlarged follicle that are clogged with microbes
and bacteria and as the skin persists on giving off excess
oil, all the bacteria within the surface will be inflamed.
Therefore, a person stricken
by acne should be aware of the different forms of acne and
how they can be controlled and prevented. This may not be an
easy method and would require a lot of product tests and
natural treatments however, all this can be constructive on
your way to clear and free acne skin.
